Home About Work Contact

Hello!

My name is Adrian Duke and I am passionate about making the world a more accessible place for everyone through smart and empathetic design.

I believe that good design improves lives far more than we can appreciate and that even the most utilitarian design can be functional, intuitive and beautiful.

I am a graduate of the UX/UI Design Bootcamp hosted by Monash University.

My design process begins with empathy and delving deep into defining a user’s needs and motivations through thorough research which informs the ideation and creative phase. I communicate to my team and stakeholders with high quality annotated user flows and interactive prototypes that is backed up with qualitative testing.

My Values

Passion

Humans are emotional beings and create their best work when said work is meaningful to them. We are not robots.

Embrace Creativity

Everyone needs a creative outlet of one kind or another! When I’m not designing you can find me writing and performing music with my band Terrestrials.

Never Stop Learning

I’ll forever be a student of life and humans are constant works of progress. This is awesome because learning is fun. My personal favourite way to learn is from niche youtube videos.

Guitars and Music

I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years and am a huge music nerd. My favourite genres are rock, jazz, pop and metal. Tell me what your favourite album is!

Also you should totally check out my band Terrestrials.

Car Racing

I love car racing, especially F1. I competitively sim race online. Pictured is a coffee themed livery I designed for my endurance sim racing team ‘Powered by Coffee’.

Cats

My cat and I often go on walks together at night along a nearby river. He followed me one time and now it’s a regular thing! Here Milo is pictured enjoying golden hour.
